About Us

The Cambridge Basketball Lab is a co-ed basketball and mentorship program for Cambridge youth launching in July. The Lab is a safe place for middle and high school youth (grades 6-12) of Cambridge to go in the evenings, to develop their basketball skills, to build long-term mentoring relationships with caring adults, and to be exposed to basketball technology while working on their game. Every drill at The Lab is measurable and youth will set personal goals and create a plan to achieve them. Students can come as often as they'd like! The Lab will operate a summer launch pilot at the CRLS main gym from 4-7pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from July 5 to August 18. More details on the Lab's Fall hours coming soon!

The Lab is free of charge to all Cambridge Public School students and we are reliant on philanthropic dollars to provide this service to Cambridge youth. The cost for the summer for youth outside of Cambridge is $200 - this enables youth to come as often as they would like!

The Lab is much more than just a basketball gym - it drives equity of opportunity for any Cambridge student regardless of family income. It’s a best-in-class, tech-infused, basketball and leadership development training facility that is welcoming, challenging, and inclusive for every young person that walks through our doors.

The Cambridge Basketball Lab is a non-profit organization and all gifts are tax-deductible. The Cambridge Community Center is our Fiscal Sponsor. Their EIN is 04-2477881 and their address is 5 Callender St Cambridge MA 02139. Please make checks out to Cambridge Basketball Lab c/o CCC.
